12d International Innovation Awards
Information, Terms and Conditions
The 12d International Innovation Awards will recognise inspired thinking and innovative solutions in civil engineering and surveying. Around the world, our industry faces challenging problems and finds inventive answers. The 12d International Innovation Awards highlight the best of those solutions.
Awards and prizes - $15K prize pool
Gold Winner or winning team will receive $5,000, the 12d Model Innovation Winner Trophy and a Full Conference Package at the 12d Model International User Conference 2012 (including Conference Dinner). The Gold Winner’s company or employer will receive a $3,000 training package and a trophy.
Silver Winner or winning team will receive $2,000 and 12d Model Innovation Trophy. The Silver Winner’s company or employer will receive a $2,000 training package and a trophy.
Bronze Winner or winning team will receive $1,000 and 12d Model Innovation Trophy. The Bronze Winner’s company or employer will receive a $1,000 training package and a trophy.
Announcement of winners
Award Winners will be announced and prizes presented at the 12d Model International User Conference 2012, July 29-31 2012.
Award Winners and Highly Commended entries will be showcased at the 12d Model International User Conference 2012, and published on the 12d Solutions and Extra Dimension Solutions (EXDS) websites, and in industry media.
Entry
The awards are open to all users of 12d Model, except employees of 12d Solutions, its distributors
and trainers, and their immediate families. An entry may be submitted by a person or a team, but one entry only is permitted per person or team.
Entries should be emailed to innovation@exds.com.au. Entries close at 11pm AEST May 31,
2012. 12d Solutions assumes no responsibility for the failure of any entry to be accepted by the deadline due to incomplete or late submission.
Entries should be accompanied by data and/or high quality screenshots that illustrate the basis of the entry.
Entrants may be asked to provide additional information (including project data) if necessary.
Entrants should also include their company’s logo to help showcase their role in the project.
Judging
The judging panel will be comprised of independent industry experts, to be announced after the closing date for entries.
The judges will not be employees or owners of, or partners in, any companies responsible for projects cited in award entries, which would be deemed to result in a conflict of interest.
Conflict of interest does not include members of the judging panel holding shares in publicly listed
companies cited in award entries, except where the shareholding is deemed to be a controlling majority.
