With the Survey module, users are able to reduce survey data, apply adjustments and transformations, create and label subdivision (estate) lots and create and upload setout data. Functionality of the Survey module includes:
During reduction the field codes are used to string data and apply line styles and symbols, colours and line weights.
Field pickup includes arcs, pipes and culverts.
Coding by field templates is supported.
Corrections to field data (typically mis-coding or mis-numbering of strings) are done interactively on the computer screen and corrections added to the 12d Field File. The original observations are always available.
Adjustments include Compass (Transit), Bowditch, Crandall and Least Squares.
Zone to Zone and general conversions between Latitude/Longitude and Universal Transverse Mercator
(UTM) projections.
Transformations for NZMG and Circuits
Conversions between the Australian AGD datum and GDA datum (AMG to MGA) using parameters or NTv2 Grids.
Setout points can be created and uploaded as well as horizontal and vertical geometry and design sections for most instruments.
Note: The AMG/MGA and Subdivision (Estate) Lot capabilities are part of the Survey module but are also available as separate modules if the Survey module is not
required.
